Kim Hinnant is an award-winning artist whose work is in private and corporate collections spanning five continents. Her paintings have been used as the cover of three different books and a CD. She is represented by Art Gallery Prudencia in San Antonio, Texas and the Port Aransas Art Center. Kim’s love of painting is only surpassed by her joy of teaching others. “My goal is to help individuals create a beautiful painting, but most importantly, teaching them to enjoy the process. Painting is the vehicle I travel in, but people are always my destination.
Student quotes:
“The teacher was excellent. She gave a great demonstration and explanation. Very positive and encouraging.”
“My favorite part was learning about oils – plus Kim’s encouraging words.”
“Very good explanation of how to do things and answering questions. I like the way Kim says, “Stop!” rather than letting the student continue doing something wrong…that helps alleviate the frustration of doing the same mistake and not achieving the desired effect.”
