Timed to coincide with the renowned Whooping Crane Festival here in Port Aransas,

“A Birdwatcher’s Journal” celebrates not only the arrival of these magnificent cranes, but also the incredible variety of birds passing through and residing on our island at this special time of year. This exhibit invites us to pause and appreciate our feathered visitors and longtime residents alike. We welcome all artistic mediums-whether it’s photography, painting. sculpture, or mixed media. Our member artists are sure to inspire and delight birders and nature lovers with works that capture the vibrant life and beauty of our avian community. We encourage our member artists ta share their unique perspective; let’s fill the gallery with the wonder of birds-one painting, one image, one moment at a time.
