This class begins with exploring materials- paint, paper, brushes, etc. Several small paintings will be done experimenting with 4 basic techniques – flat wash, graded wash, dry brush and wet-in-wet. Values in painting will also be addressed.

 

*All supplies will be provided for your first class. Students will then decide what supplies they want to invest in and where to get them.

Subsequent classes will involve exploring a variety of watercolor techniques while creating paintings.
