Diane Weiner is best known in Corpus Christi for her polymer clay and dichroic glass jewelry-colorful wearable art which is one-of-a –kind.
Diane learned design and painting at Del Mar under teachers such as Joseph Cain in the late 70’s, and drawing at CCSU under Danny O”Dowdy. After a career in elementary school teaching and counseling she has returned to her interest in art, ranging from oil pastels, acrylic and watercolor painting to sculpting polymer clay and paper mache into novel low relief creations.
She has shared her latest exploration of the water color work by Shirley Trevena of England with the Water Color Society of South Texas. She is the treasurer of South Texas Art League and takes a special interest in encouraging others to allow art to enrich their own lives.
