In this focused watercolor workshop, you will break away from standard techniques to paint an elegant 8×10 hibiscus bloom. While watercolorists typically build from light to dark values, this class challenges you to master the mesmerizing & painting backwards & method.

By starting with your deepest shadows and blending out into your brilliant highlights, you will discover an exciting, intuitive way to create dramatic depth. Under step-by-step guidance, you will merge this reverse approach with classic wet-on-wet blending to create soft, seamless gradients that perfectly mimic the delicate texture of real flower petals.
