About this event

You will learn to mix, layer, and master oil techniques from background to foreground.

Jeanette will guide you step-by-step to capture the vibrant flamingo and playful avocets inspired by the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center. Perfect for all skill levels!

Supplies List

Medium: Small bottle of Liquin or Galkyd (thins paints and speeds drying) *No Fumes

Brushes: If purchasing new ones or you may use any that you have if they are not small

Bristle-sizes 6 and 4 flat or filbert

Synthetic-sizes 6 and 4 flat and size 2 round

Palette: Paper pad

Paint: The following were used in the painting.

You may substitute what you have but colors will vary.

Titanium white (larger tube)

Phthalo blue

Viridian green

Alizarine crimson
