Artfest is an annual, two-day event featuring original fine art and crafts. The year 2018 marked the festival’s 13th year! Artfest 2018 occurred at Jerry McDonald Field between Avenues C and A in Port Aransas, Texas (just a block from the Art Center). Our thanks go to SYSTEMSEVEN for serving as our wifi sponsor for Artfest 2018.
Recap of 2018
Many exceptional fine arts and crafts were available for purchase. Live music to shop by was provided by Jack Gant, Robbie and Teresa Owens, with guest appearances by others. Food vendors onsite included The Hot Dog Lady, Granny’s Tamales, and Chillin’ & Grillin’ and Sweet Life Bakery. Paintings in all media, pottery (functional and designer), photography framed and on canvas, cards, jewelry in all forms (including silver and turquoise, beaded, southwest, native American and glass), hand painted glass and wall art, wood carvings (signs, bowls and spoons), nature inspired concrete art, spinners shell art, mosaics, original clothing designs and much more were available.
