Art Classes | Workshops

Art classes for all ages are held year-round at the Port Aransas Art Center. “Drop-in” classes do not require registration. But other classes and workshops do require advance registration. This page discusses adult art classes. To learn about art classes for youth, follow this link. Questions? Contact us by phone or use our secure contact form on this website.

Open Studio Time

Come join fellow artists and art students for Open Studio Time at the Port Aransas Art Center. This event is held Wednesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (starting July 11, 2018). Bring your favorite media and the supplies you need to work on your art, while enjoying fellowship and idea-sharing with fellow artists. The coffee pot will be “on,” and bring a snack if you wish.

NOTE:

Open Studio will take a break on November 21 through the holiday season, and will return in January. Hope to see everyone then!

Open Studio Time is free to Port Aransas Art Center Members, and a donation is appreciated from those who are not current Members. Come be inspired, and hopefully you will inspire someone else! We look forward to seeing you there.

This stress free, fun and creative event is usually held the third Sunday of each month, and it involves a $40 donation to the Port Aransas Art Center Building Fund. This class is also an “event,” so it appears here and on the event page of our website.
